Police dispersed students who took positions at ECB Chattar at Mirpur on Monday noon protesting the recent deaths during the students’ movement and release of people arrested by law enforcement agencies.

The students started demonstrations around 12:00 pm and police dispersed them around 12:30 pm, said UNB reporter from the spot.

Then the protesters took position in different alleys.

Besides, police obstructed protesters at Mirpur-10 when they attempted to bring out a procession around 12:30 pm.

Members of BGB, police and army have taken positions at different points.
