Bangladesh finish runners-up in U-20, U-18 handball finals

Bangladesh finished runners-up in both junior (U-20) and youth (U-18) events of the IHF Men’s Trophy 2024 Zone 2 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday.
They lost to hosts India by 36-56 goals in U-18s and 25-55 goals in the U-20s.
Earlier, Bangladesh beat Maldives by 38-30 goals and 47-28 goals in their last round-robin league matches of junior and youth categories respectively.
The U-20s played a 29-29 goals draw with Nepal while lost to India by 26-46 goals in their first two matches.
The U-18s beat Nepal 46-26 goals but lost to the hosts by 35-45 goals in their first two league games.
