Renowned filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s highly anticipated first web series, “Ladies and Gentlemen,” premieres on the digital platform Bongo today (Thursday).

 “Ladies and Gentlemen” narrates the inspiring story of an ordinary Bangladeshi girl who rises to become the voice of working women in the country. Initially released on an Indian OTT platform in 2021, this marks the series’ much-anticipated debut in Bangladesh.

Director Farooki expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I made ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ about three years ago. It was initially released on an OTT platform abroad. I am very happy that Bongo is finally bringing the series to the people of our country. I hope the series will once again receive the love of the people.”

The series is produced by renowned actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, marking her first foray into web series production.

Talented actor Tasnia Farin has played the lead role in the series. The project also features a stellar cast including Mamunur Rashid, Afzal Hossain, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Hasan Masood, Saberi Alam, Partha Barua, Mukit Zakaria, Iresh Zaker, Maria Nur, Mostafa Monowar, Sharaf Ahmed Jibon, and Chanchal Chowdhury.
