The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced their home fixtures against Bangladesh comprising two Tests and three T20Is.

Chennai will host the first Test starting on 19 September while Kanpur will host the second Test from 27 September. The Test series will be part of the ICC Test Championship.

The Tests will be followed by three T20Is, which will be played on 6, 9 and 12 October respectively in Dharamsala, Delhi and Hyderabad.

The Tigers previously toured India for a full-fledged series in 2019. They lost the three-match T20I series by a 1-2 margin before they suffered a 0-2 crushing defeat in the Test series.

Last year, Bangladesh had a disappointing campaign in India during the ICC World Cup where they could win only two out of their nine matches to finish eighth in the tournament.
