Import-export activities through Sonamasjid Land Port would remain closed for eight days on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

However, the Immigration Department would remain open and the travellers carrying passports would be able to travel as usual.

President of Sonamasjid Importer-Exporter Group Kazi Md. Shahabuddin confirmed, saying the import and export activities through the port would remain closed from 15 June to 20 June and it would resume on 22 June.

Two Fridays - 14 June and 21 June would be included in the closure.
