Flight operations resumed today at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport after 17 hours of suspension amid heavy rain caused by Cyclone Remal.

Flight operations resumed at 5am on Monday, said Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil, public relations officer of the airport.

During this period, a total of 16 flights, including 7 international ones, were cancelled, he added.
