Bashundhara Kings, who clinched their fifth title of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) last week, will receive the trophy after their 16th match of the  ongoing ABG Bashundhara BPL 2023-24 against Police Football Club today.

The match will take place at Kings’ home -- Bashundhara Kings Arena here at 5:45pm (BST).

Kings earlier confirmed their record-extending fifth league title with three matches left last Saturday (11 May) after beating Mohammedan Sporting Club Ltd by 2-1 goals at the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.

Meanwhile, Youth and Sports Minister Nazmul Hassan Papon is expected to present in the trophy giving ceremony as the chief guest.

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Kazi Md Salahuddin and BFF Vice-president, Professional League Management Committee (PLMC) Chairman and Bashundhara Kings President Imrul Hassan will also present on the occasion.

Earlier this day, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd will play against Fortis Football Club at the Muktijuddho Sriti Stadium in Rajshahi at 4 pm (BST).
