The Bashundhara Kings Arena of the Bashundhara Sports Complex will host two FIFA Women’s International matches between Bangladesh and Chinese Taipei on 30 May and 3 June.

The country’s premier football venue for the first time is going to host women’s international football matches, though it earlier hosted five international matches of the men’s national football team and three AFC Cup 2023–24 group stage matches of Kings.

“The matches will be held at 5:45 pm (BST), so we get instructions to arrange uninterrupted floodlights and best possible security during the match,” Ahmed Shaaek, a representative of the Kings Arena, told the the Daily Sun after a inter-ministerial virtual meeting on Monday.
