Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) advisor and one of the organisers of the Great War of Liberation Haider Akbar Khan Rono.

In a condolence message, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
