Youth killed in Khilgaon
After opening the sack, police found a youth smeared with blood

Blood was coming out from a mattress wrapped with a rope on Ice-cream Factory Lane at North Goran in Khilgaon of the capital on Thursday morning.
Being informed by local people, police came to the spot untied the knots of the mattress and found a sack tied with a rope.
After opening the sack, police found a youth smeared with blood.
He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the doctors on duty declared him dead around 11:00 am.
Police said that the legs and hands of the youth identified as Habibur Rahman, 28, were seen tied with ropes and there were injury marks caused due to sharp weapon hits on his head.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khilgaon Police Station Salauddin Mia said that Habibur with his wife lived in a house on Meradia Commissioner Road at Kosaibari of Demra. He was a drug addict.
“We are suspecting that after killing Habibur, his body was kept on the lane.”
Jahirul Islam, sub-inspector of the police station, said that Habibur left his residence at about 10:00 pm on Wednesday and did not return.
He said that the crime scene of CID collected evidence from the spot.
