The Film and Photography Club of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) on Monday announced its new committee with Shahriar Shanto of EEE department and Md. Nowsad Ali of Philosophy department as president and general secretary respectively.

Other office bearers are- organizing secretary Himel Ahmed, Eva Israt and Dip Das.

M. Mehedi Hasan, former president of the club, confirmed the matter to Daily Sun.

Md. Nowsad Ali, said, “We are determined to move the club forward through effective, timely and long-term planning and activities with the combined efforts of all."

The JKKNIU Film and Photography Club started its journey in 2009.  Since its inception, the club has been working tirelessly in the fileds of film and photography. The club organized numerous photo exhibitions, workshops and film screening festivals.
