Two Bangladeshis dead after shooting in New York’s Buffalo
The victims are identified as Babul Uddin and Yusuf Miah; a police investigation is underway, no suspects are in custody

Two Bangladeshis were fatally shot on Saturday afternoon on Buffalo’s East Side, and a SWAT unit was on the scene, Buffalo police officials confirmed.
The deceased are Babul Uddin from Cumilla, and Yusuf Miah from Sylhet, said Muktodhara Foundation General Secretary Bishwajit Saha quoting local Bangladesh community activist Habib Rahman.
Police said they responded around 12:30 pm to the 100 block of Zenner Street, where two individuals had been shot.
Officials later confirmed that the two victims, who were not identified, were deceased.
Police did not confirm whether or not a suspect was in custody.
A News 4 photographer on the scene confirmed that Zenner Street and Kilhoffer Street were closed off to traffic as a result of the police and SWAT presence.
