DU classes go online due to heatwave
Online classes will be held until further notice to avoid health risks

Dhaka University (DU) authorities on Sunday decided to hold online classes for an indefinite period due to the ongoing heatwave.
The information was made public through a press release from the university's Office of the Public Relations.
According to the press release, online classes will be held until further notice to avoid health risks due to the severe heatwave sweeping over the country.
However, the examinations will be held as usual.
On Saturday, the government decided to keep all schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical education institutions across the country closed from 21 April to 27 April due to heatwave.
