Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested Munsi Ruhul Aslam, primary education officer of Shibchar Upazila, in connection with a High Court judgment fraudulent case.   

Police of Shibchar and Shahbagh Police Stations, in joint drives carried out in Shibchar, arrested Aslam on Tuesday night, our Madaripur correspondent reports quoting Selim Reza, inspector (investigation) of Shibchar Police Station.      

The judgment fraudulence case was lodged with Shahbagh Police Station in the capital Dhaka on 15 April.  

Later, the arrestee was brought to Dhaka to produce him before the court.
