Iran and Israel will address the emergency UN Security Council meeting on Sunday, a source at the council told Sputnik.

"They both requested to speak and they will," the source said.

Israel requested a UN Security Council meeting following a drone and missile attack by Iran. The source at the council said no resolution or other document had been put forth for debate.

"As of now, no member of the Security Council asked for an adoption of any product or draft resolution with regard to Iran's attack," the source said.
