Armed group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) chief Nathan Bawm’s wife Lal Samkim Bawm, also a senior staff nurse at Ruma Upazila Health Complex, has been transferred to Lalmonirhat 250-bed General Hospital.

The Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery issued an office order in this regard on 8 April.

In the same office order, another senior staff nurse of Ruma Upazila Health Complex, Dipali Baroi, was transferred to Patgram Upazila Health Complex in Lalmonirhat.

Both of them were asked to join their new workplaces by 9 April, otherwise they would be considered stand-released in the afternoon on the day, read the office order.

Of late, members of the KNF have allegedly attacked government establishments and robbed banks in Bandarban.
