Banglalink has significantly expanded its 4G network capacity aimed at easing the travels and providing comfort to those embarking on the homebound journey this Eid-ul-Fitr.

As the joyous festival marking the end of Ramadan approaches, many across Bangladesh are preparing to return to their hometowns to celebrate with their loved ones.

Recognising the challenges faced by travellers, Banglalink has enhanced its 4G network capacity, as stated in a press release on Saturday.

In a significant effort to assist homebound individuals, Banglalink will offer complimentary bus rides to underprivileged people travelling across the country.

This initiative seeks to alleviate the burden for passengers struggling with transportation costs and ensure that everyone can safely return home to celebrate the festivities with their families. Moreover, Banglalink's volunteer team will be stationed at Dhaka’s main bus terminals - Gabtali, Mohakhali, and Saidabad, main railway stations like Kamalapur, the airport station, and Sadarghat launch terminal, offering various services.

Commenting on these initiatives, Taimur Rahman, chief corporate and regulatory affairs officer at Banglalink, emphasised the importance of kindness and community support. “We aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those travelling across the country, ensuring everyone can return home safely and enjoy the festivities with their loved ones,” he stated.

Banglalink is dedicated to making the travel experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. Additionally, the company will deploy dedicated team members to assist passengers with their luggage.

With the summer heat exacerbating travel discomfort, Banglalink will also distribute hand fans to passengers at various transit points.
