The 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written results were published on Wednesday, with 11,732 candidates qualifying for viva voce.

According to sources at the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), the oral examinations for the successful candidates are scheduled to commence in the first week of May this year.

The detailed timetable for the oral examination will be announced through national daily newspapers and the commission's website.

Among the 11,732 successful candidates, 5,326 applied for the General Cadre, while the remaining candidates applied for  Technical and Professional Cadre.

The preliminary test for the 44th BCS was held on 22 May 2022, with a total of 2,76,760 candidates participating. Out of them, 15,708 candidates passed the test.
