Three people including a 2-year-old girl were killed in a road accident when a passenger bus hit a CNG-run autorickshaw on Dhaka-Mymensigh road in Trishal upazila of Mymernsingh on Thursday morning.

The deceased were identified as Rubiya Taznim, 2, daughter of Enamul Haque, Shariful Islam, 34, son of late Abdus samad, and Salman Azadi, 28, a Music department student of Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Trishal Police Station Chand Mia confirmd the matter.

The OC said four more persons were injured in the accident, with three in critical condition, all subsequently taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
