Veteran vocalist Rafiqul Alam released a new patriotic song composed and written by Ayub Bachchu on Rafiqul’s official YouTube channel on 26 March marking the Independence Day 2024.

Titled “Shadhinota,” the song was originally recorded in 2005 but had not been released until now due to some unknown reasons. Ayub Bachchu’s sudden demise in 2018 saddened Rafiqul and likely played a part in further delaying the song’s release.

Farshid Alam, Rafiqul’s son, has arranged the final composition of the over three-minute song.
