Turkey wants to boost bilateral ties with Bangladesh

The Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh, Ramis Sen, said the country has strong and deep-rooted bilateral relations with Bangladesh and the two nations are committed to further enhancing ties.

The ambassador said this during a recent courtesy visit to Md Hasnat Kabir, country manager, USB Certification Bangladesh.

He was accompanied by Bilal Belyurt, commercial counsellor, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Dhaka, according to a press release on Saturday.

During the ambassador's pre-scheduled visit, USB Certification officials shared their achievements and activities on how they support in the textile and other sectors for auditing and certifications.

Hasnat Kabir said USB Certification has been auditing the conformity by national and international standards and doing the certification for those standards for more than 26 years.

He also acknowledged the development support of the Turkish government in Bangladesh.
