The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has fixed the closing time of compressed natural gas (CNG) refuelling stations from 5pm to 10pm every day during Ramadan.

According to an instruction of the ministry, it rescheduled the opening and closing time of CNG filling stations and set five hours for closing time during Ramadan in order to mitigate possible low-pressure of the gas distribution network during the peak hours of electricity.

From 1st Ramadan that is 12 March to 6 April, the CNG station closing time will be 5pm to 10pm which was earlier 6pm to 11pm.

Necessary measures should be taken to keep CNG stations open round the clock from 7 April to 18 April to facilitate the supply of fuel for vehicle movement on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

CNG stations will remain closed from 6pm to 11pm from 19 April as before.
