Blood Hero mobile app starts journey

A new mobile software, ‘Blood Hero’, was launched on Monday to search the blood donors on emergency across the country.


Creative IT, a Bangladeshi technology organization, developed the mobile application to connect blood donors throughout the country on charity, UNB reports.


Creative IT Chairman Mohammad Monir Hossain inaugurated the apps at the Bangladesh Internet Week event in the city, said a press release.


Creative IT Managing Director Utpal Kumar Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director Parvin Akhter Sampa, Head of Business Tanvir Tamal were, among others, present.


The information of blood donors will be available on download from Play Store and registration with the application, the developers shared at the event.


There are classified information of donors according blood groups and geographic areas if the apps that will bring accuracy in donors information on emergency.


The Global Positioning System (GPS) integration is a speciality of the apps that helps searching blood in selective range.


The latest blood donors’ information in the nearby areas will display on opening the app according GPS.


There are options to connect blood donors over voice call or text. Anyone save donors in favourite lists.


The donors can hide own contacts for privacy choosing only text option to connect. A team of Creative IT Mobile App department developed the modern mobile app.


The developer team has five members headed by Partha Raz Dev, Taiful Hasan Shuvo, Al Amin, Kazi Jannatul Ferdaus and Halima Akhter Mitu.


The developers said there are many suitable persons to donate blood, miss the humanitarian opportunity for lack of knowledge of blood donation although a good awareness has been developed in last ten years.
