IU holds Sales Fair to cultivate marketing skills

A day-long Sales Fair-2024 was held on the Islamic University (IU) campus in Kushtia on Sunday amid a festive atmosphere.
The fifth batch of the Department of Marketing organised the programme at Battala near the faculty building as part of their “Business Marketing” course assignment. The fair aimed to provide hands-on education and encourage students' sales abilities.
Prof Md Saiful Islam, dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, inaugurated the event as the chief guest, while Assistant Prof Md Sadiqul Azad, chairman of the marketing department, presided over the programme.
Assistant professors Shah Alam Kabir Pramanik and Md Majedul Haque as well as former student and business leader Mokaddes Hanif Tolin were present as the special guests.
Md Ruhul Amin, the course teacher, delivered the welcome speech and supervised the fair.
Addressing the event, Sadiqul Azad said, “The fair not only provided a platform for students to showcase their marketing skills but also underscored IU's commitment to offer holistic education experiences for its students.”
