A day-long children’s painting festival titled ‘Shwapno Anko Shishu Utsab’, organised by country’s biggest retail chain super shop ‘Shwapno’, was held at Bangladesh Shishu Academy in the capital on Thursday.

Noted actor-playwright Mamunur Rashid, actors Afzal Hossain and Afsana Mimi inaugurated the festival in the morning.

The festival exhibited pictures drawn by more than 4,000 participants of Dhaka region. In addition to the exhibition, the festival also included various events like dance performance, music show, stage play and cartoon show.

‘Shwapno’ head of marketing Mahadi Faisal, Creative Head Fariduzzaman, Promotion and Campaign Management Assistant Manager Mohamamd Anisul Islam, among others, were present on the occasion.
