The teaser of Shobnom Yesmin Bubly’s Tollywood debut film “Flashback” was unveiled at an event in Kolkata on Saturday.  

Kolkata’s actors Kaushik Ganguly, Sourav Das, director Rashed Raha and Bubly were present at the teaser release.   

At the event, Bubly said, “I have made my journey in Tollywood with the film ‘Flashback’. It feels so good. You can’t imagine how much love I got from the people of Kolkata while making this film. I will remember this for the rest of my life.”

The film is set to be released globally in various countries, including Dhaka and Kolkata in May. Directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Rashid Raha, the screenplay is penned by Khairul Bashar Nirjhor.

Iman Chakraborty, Siddharth and Amit Banerjee have lent their voice to the songs of the film with musical direction by Surojit Chatterjee. Kolkata’s Narayan Chaterjee and Bangladesh’s Kazi Zafreen are jointly producing the film.

 In “Flashback”, Bubly will portray the character of a film director named Sweta. Kaushik Ganguly will be seen in the role of Anjan, who was a popular theatre actor. But he has been a recluse for a long time. However, he did not leave acting. He now acts in reality instead of on stage.

On the other hand, Saurav Das, playing DK, is a vagabond. The three characters will meet in a hilly area. The story will show how life can be more thrilling than art in such a situation.
