Shironamhin’s ‘Batighor’ to be released on Thursday

Popular music band Shironamhin will release the titled track of their new album “Batighor” on Thursday. The band has announced the news with a post on their Facebook page recently.   

The band has also released a teaser for the song “Batighor”. The music video for the song is expected to be presented in collaboration with the fashion brand “Deshal”.

About the album, Shironamhin’s lead guitarist Ziaur Rahman Zia said, “The shooting for the album’s songs took place at different locations in the country and in Thailand. “Batighor”   contains a total of ten songs; most of the songs will be accompanied by music videos.”    

“Most of the songs of the album have already been filmed, a few remaining tracks are scheduled to be shot in various locations across Himachal Pradesh, India, in March”, he added.   

“Shironamhin” is a Bangladeshi rock band formed in Dhaka on 14 April 1996. Following as a rock group emerging from Dhaka’s underground music in the late 1990s, they were distinguished for their extended psychedelic and progressive compositions, multi-instrumental experimentation, and philosophical lyrics and became one of the leading bands of the Bengali progressive rock genre.
