Rangpur Riders secured a victory over Khulna Tigers as they successfully defended their score of 219 runs.

In response, Khulna Tigers were bowled out for 141 runs, resulting in a win for Rangpur by 78 runs.

Alex Hales stood out as the top scorer for Khulna, contributing 60 runs off 33 balls, including 7 fours and 3 sixes.

Despite his brilliant efforts, Khulna struggled to maintain momentum throughout their innings.

Tahir played a crucial role for Rangpur, taking five wickets for 26 runs in his four overs, putting pressure on the  batting lineup of Khulna.

On the batting front, Rangpur's openers fell early, but Rony Talukdar and Reeza Hendricks steadied the innings.

However, both fell victim to Wood's bowling, leaving the team in a precarious position.

A partnership between Shakib Al Hasan and Mehedi Hasan Miraz turned the tide in Rangpur's favour, with the duo adding 109 runs for the second wicket.

Shakib contributed 69 runs, including six fours and six sixes, while Mehidy scored 60 off 36 balls, featuring six sixes and four fours.

Nurul Hasan Sohan played a crucial cameo, remaining unbeaten on 32 off 13 balls, helping Rangpur post a formidable total.

Although there were some challenges, Rangpur emerged victorious in a thrilling encounter against Khulna Tigers.
