Metro rail services from Uttara North to Motijheel in the capital have been resumed.

The train services were halted for around an hour due to a "technical glitch".

MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), said due to an electricity supply problem, the train services were halted.

"The operation of metro rail resumed following the examination of the entire line manually," he said.
