Metro rail services in the capital were halted due to a 'technical glitch'. 

Confirming the matter, public relations officer of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Nazmul Islam Bhuiyan said the services of metro rail were shut down at 2:45pm today.  

“The metro rail will resume services once the problem is resolved,” he said.
