Noted film actor Ilias Kanchan will appear in a drama titled “Rupantar”. Through the play, the actor will be seen in a television drama after a long hiatus.

Written by Sujat Shimul and directed by Shuvra Ahmed, the drama is produced by Mahfuzar Rahman. Besides Ilias Kanchan, “Rupantar” also stars actors Mamunur Rashid, Ahsan Habib Nasim, Sushama Sarker, Sajjad Saju, Tapash Sarkar and others.

The story of the drama “Rupantar” revolves around Kamran Ahmed (Ilias Kanchan), who is a retired government officer. He has two sons, one daughter, eldest son’s wife Rehana and granddaughter Arin in his family. Kamran Ahmed is very upset with everyone in the family. Because no one has any discipline. He always thought if he could bring all the family in order! But how is it possible? Everyone is grown up now.

One morning Kamran Ahmed woke up and found himself in the guise of a powerful man like a metamorphosis. With a stick in hand, he shouted and started calling everyone. Then the story of the drama continues.

“Rupantar” will be aired on Bangladesh Television (BTV) at 9:00pm today.
