A total of 671 leaders and activists of the Jatiya Party's Dhaka north and south city corporation units have resigned from the party posts on the allegation of stubbornness of the party chairman GM Quader.

Recently expelled president of Dhaka North City Unit President Shafiqul Islam Sentu along with the other party leaders made the announcement at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club in the capital on Thursday.
