Khulna win high-scoring match to make it two in two

Anamul Haque and Evin Lewis struck quickfire fifties to guide Khulna Tigers to their successive win in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League after they beat Fortune Barishal by eight wickets in a high-scoring encounter in Mirpur on Monday.
Skipper Anamul made an unbeaten 63 off 44 balls while Lewis scored 53 off 22 balls as Khulna reached 190-2 in 18 overs to hand Barishal their first defeat in the tournament.
The opening pair of Anamul and Lewis put up 77 runs in just 5.2 overs while chasing a target of 188 runs before the latter was dismissed by Barishal's Pakistani recruit Mohammad Imran.
Anamul then added 75 runs with Afif Hossain (41) to take them close to the victory.
Shai Hope, who came to the crease after the dismissal of Afif, then made an unbeaten 27 off 10 balls to guide Khulna victory with 12 balls to spare.
Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim staged a brillant batting display as he made 68 off 39 balls while Tamim Iqbal also made 40 runs as Barishal posted 187-4 in 20 overs after they were sent into bat first.
