Prime Minister (PM) of Finland Petteri Orpo congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her re-election as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

In a greeting letter written to Sheikh Hasina, Finland’s PM said, “I wish to extend my congratulations on your renewed term as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and the formation of a new government for your country.”

“The friendly relations between our countries provide a solid foundation to further develop our cooperation, and I am looking forward to partnership across many fields for our mutual benefit,” he said.

“Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration,” Petteri Orpo added.
