Jatiya Party’s two leaders -- Md Shafiqul Islam Sentu and Yah Ya Chowdhury -- were exempted from all party positions.

Also, the Dhaka city North Committee of the party has been abolished.

The party made the decision on Sunday evening following the directive of the party chairman GM Quader.
