Incumbent Law Minister Anisul Huq, a candidate with ‘boat’ symbol from Brahmanbaria-4 (Kasba-Akhaura) constituency, has won the general election bagging 2,20,667 votes.

Results of all 118 polling centres were obtained, according to the unofficial results.

His (Anisul) nearest contestant National People's Party candidate Shaheen Khan garnered 6,586 votes with 'Mango' symbol.

Sayed Zafarul Quddus of Tariqat Federation got 4,574 votes with the symbol of chain of ‘flower'.
