Voting is a democratic right and it is illegal to obstruct voters from voting. The law enforcers will take stern action against the evildoers, said Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Md Khurshid Hossain.

He said, “The 12th parliamentary election will be held on 7 January. We are sure that we have a good coordination. We will be able to complete the 12th parliamentary election in a fair and peaceful environment through teamwork.”

He made the remarks while talking to reporters after visiting different polling centres and inspecting the security measures taken at the polling centres in the capital on Saturday (6 January) afternoon.
