DCAB pays respect to Bangabandhu

The new executive committee of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) paid respect to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi 32 in Dhaka on Friday morning.

Newly elected President Nurul Islam Hasib and General Secretary Ashiqur Rahman Apu led DCAB members to place a wreath at Bangabandhu’s portrait in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum.

Vice-president Rabiul Haque, joint secretary Md Arifuzzaman, treasurer Atiqur Rahman, and executive members Israt Jahan Urmi, Mir Mostafizur Rahman, Pantho Rahaman, Porimol Palma and Masum Billah were present, among others.

Vice-president (elect) Md Tanzim Anwar, Former President Angur Nahar Monty, General Secretary Touhidur Rahman and Akm Moinuddin, and members Sheikh Shahriar Zaman, Rubaet Hassan and Nazrul Islam were also present.

The new committee took charge on Thursday for a year after the elections on December 31.
