Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) clinched the men's title of Victory Day Handball Competition (Men’s and Women’s) beating Ansar and VDP by 32-28 goals in the final at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium on Thursday.

While Ansar clinched the women's title of this event beating Jamalpur THT Lion by 42-15 goals at the same venue on this day. 

BGB’ Taju Islam was adjudged the best player of the competition in men's category while Ansar's Alpona was adjudged the best player of the competition in women's category.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner Habibur Rahman distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest in a closing ceremony after the day's finals.
