The Embassy of Bangladesh in Cairo celebrated the 52nd Victory Day on December 16, 2023, with due dignity and solemnity.

The main program of Victory Day included hoisting of the national flag with the national anthem, speeches by the president and prime minister, and the screening of a documentary on Bangladesh's independence and development of the country.

On the day Ambassador Samina Naz hoisted the national flag at the embassy premises in the presence of expatriate Bangladeshis and all members of the embassy.

After that, a special prayer was offered for the eternal peace of the souls of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the martyrs of the Liberation War, and for the overall welfare of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Expatriate Bangladeshis, Bangladeshi students studying in various universities, UN officials, prominent established businessmen of Bangladesh in Egypt, and a large number of expatriate Bangladeshis participated in the Victory Day ceremony.
