Two Bangladeshi short films in Nepal’s film fest

Two Bangladeshi short films “Mullohin Manush” (Death has no Destination) and “Grohogroshto” (The Life Line) will be screened at the 11th Nepal Human Rights Int’l Film Festival in Kathmandu today.
Supin Barman and Jaganmay Pal have directed the films “Mullohin Manush” and “Grohogroshto” respectively.
“Grohogroshto” has previously been showcased in various film festivals, including 21st Dhaka Int’l Film Festival, Ekannoborti Film Festival, and the Karnataka Youth International Short Film Festival. The film stars Sakhaowat Hossain, Yashir Afiyat Rafi, Pankaj Majumdar, Nahida AkhtarAkhi, and others.
On the other hand, “Mullohin Manush” has already been commercially released on a streaming platform.
The four-day fest began on 9 December with the theme Collective Rights. Over 40 selected films from around the world made on human rights issues are being showcased at this year’s festival.
