KOICA Bangladesh Alumni Night concludes with grandeur

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the KOICA Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA) jointly hosted a gala night at Dhaka on Thursday (Nov 23).

The occasion aimed to bring together government officials who have made significant contributions to various sectors in Bangladesh, courtesy of KOICA's multi-sectoral Scholarship and Training program.

South Korean Ambassador H.E. Park Young-sik mentioned 50 years of diplomatic ties between Korea and Bangladesh, emphasizing the pivotal role of KOICA alumni in fostering enduring friendship.

KBAA President and Senior Secretary of Bangladesh Planning Commission, Nasima Begum, highlighted KOICA's grant assistance, emphasizing its role in supporting the Government of Bangladesh in human resource and institutional development.

There was a cultural program with vibrant K-Pop dance performances by the BD-K Family and traditional Bangladeshi dance by Tejgaon Sarkari Shishu Paribar.

Md. Anwar Hossain, Additional Secretary and Wing Chief, ERD; Mohammad Mesbaul Alam, Director General of National Productivity Organization; Biswajit Bhattacharya, Director of Agrani Bank; and Nusrat Jabeen Banu of the Ministry of Commerce were also in attendance at this program.
