Researchers underscore need for formulating updated education curriculum

Researchers have underscored the need for formulating a job-oriented and well-timed education curriculum for students to cope with the developed countries.

They came up with the importance during a two-day long workshop that began at the National Academy for Educational Management (Naem) in Dhaka today.

The National University (NU) arranged the workshop, involving researchers from home and abroad, to formulate a job-oriented and well-timed education curriculum for students to cope with the developed countries.

A total of 37 experts in the related field, educationists and researchers will participate in the programme and will present their research works to meet the goal of the workshop.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni took take part in the programme as the chief guest while the workshop was presided over by Prof Dr Md Mashiur Rahman, vice chancellor of the NU.

While addressing the programme, Dipu Moni expressed her optimism that the initiative undertaken by the National University to bring reform to the education curriculum will be successful and will help improve the quality of education in the country.
