Bangladesh wouldn’t be a developing country unless birth of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said a former bureaucrats of the government.

“Bangladesh couldn’t transform its economy as a role model in the world unless birth of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The country’s economy has gone from a basket case to being a model case study for economic development across the globe,” Shahidullah Khnadoker, a retired senior secretary of the government, told a meeting in Gopalganj on Friday.

Awami League upazila unit organised the discussion meeting followed by rally marking the 77th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Addressing the programme, Kandoker said the once nation witnessed bombs attacked across the.
“During tenure of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the government is working for establishing peace.  There have been established model mosques. We all should work together for keep Sheikh Hasina in power,” he said.

Khnadoker is entrusted with implementing development activities in Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's constituency Gopalganj-3.

Kotalipara upazila unit AL president Bhabendra Nath Biswas in the chair, upazila unit general secretary Aynal Hossain Sheikh, vice-president Mujibur Rahman Howlader, joint general secretaries Kamal Hossain Sheikh and Aminuzzaman Khan Milon, organising secretary Matiar Rahman Hazra, Matiar Rahman Hazra, Ruhul Amin Khan, publicity secretary Hannan Sheikh, Jubo League local unit president Fazlur Rahman Dipu, general secretary Babul Hazra, Chhatra League local unit president Swapan Talukder and general secretary Shamim Daria were present at the meeting.
