Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University's Physical Education department has been instructed to prepare the sports calendar as soon as possible.

Soumitra Sekhar, Vice-Chancellor of the university, asked for regular sports among the academic departments of the university in due time under the guidance and work towards participation at the inter-university and national level.

Apart from this, under the direct supervision of the Vice-Chancellor for the advancement of sports, admissions have been taken for the first time in the academic year 2022-23 under the BKSP quota. 

Many feel that such efficient guidance of the Vice-Chancellor in every field including sports will take the university a long way.

Prof Dr Soumitra Sekhar said “To spread the achievements of Nazrul University through sports at the national and international level, the physical education department has been instructed to prepare the sports calendar as soon as possible and implement it at the appropriate time.  For the first time we have taken admission in BKSP quota.  I hope that very soon we will see enviable success in every field including sports.”
