Data recording of books is going on through New Zealand-based Koha Library software which is a fully featured, scalable library management system. After adding to the database, sealing, numbering and cataloging, the books will be added to the library's bookshelves within the next 2 months. In all, Nazrul University got a rich library of 37 thousand books.
Anupom Sarker, postgraduate student of Public Administration and Governance Studies, said, expanding the central library's book collection will provide us with increased subject-specific materials, depth of knowledge, and comprehensive study resources. Ultimately, this will empower us to excel in academic pursuits and future careers.
Nazrul University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Soumitra Sekhar said, “Without quality research or studies conducted by students, the progress in education, research, and development will cease. We want the students to study in the library and be properly prepared for a better and sustainable future.”
