Inspector (Ops) of Shahbagh Police Station Golam Mostafa has been withdrawn to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Headquarters over the assault on two central leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).

In an office order of DMP Commissioner Khandker Golam Faruq, the inspector has been withdrawn while Arshad Hossain, inspector of DB Gulshan Division, has been transferred to Shahbagh Police Station as inspector (Ops).

An office order signed by Deputy Commissioner (HQ and Admin) of the DMP Tanvir Salehin Emon was issued in this regard on Monday.

Media and Public Relations Division of the DMP sent the order to mass media at 12:40am on Tuesday.
