Nazrul University ranks 14th among 46 public varsities

Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University has ranked 14th among 46 public universities and scored 84.17 on implementation of Annual Performance Agreement (APA) for the financial year 2022-23.

The total scoring process was evaluated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) Bangladesh.

Nazrul University Registrar Dr Md Humayun Kabir confirmed this information to Daily Sun.

This improvement in APA ranking will serve as an inspiration for our future path in our education, research and development. I congratulate all the teachers, students, officers, employees and the university family, Nazrul University Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Soumitra Sekhar said.

Nazrul University ranked 25th in the UGC assessment in the financial year 2021-22.

The institution has continued to sign MoU with various international universities to conduct joint research and exchange curriculum at the international level and organised two international conferences and a research fair. Besides, Nazrul University is committed to providing need-based and outcome-based quality education to the students.

The main purpose of APA is to improve the performance of government institutions by making them more efficient, dynamic, and effective.
