Habibur Rahman, senior reporter of the daily Jugantor, has died of heart attack. He was 41.

He breathed his last on way to National Heart Foundation in the capital at 4:30pm on Tuesday.

Farzana Mahmud Sony, wife of deceased, said Habibur was taken to the hospital from residence shortly after sickness but attending doctors declared him dead.

He left behind wife, a son, a daughter and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn the death.

Hailing from Shibchar of Madaripur, Habibur obtained his graduation and post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dhaka University. He was active and brilliant journalist.

He was member of Dhaka Reporter Unity (DRU), Jatiya Press Club and other journalistic associations.
