Former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will be taken to a Dhaka hospital today afternoon for a physical examination.

She will be taken to the capital's Evercare Hospital from her Gulshan residence at around 5pm as per the advice of the medical board formed for the treatment of Khaleda Zia.

Her medical team member Dr AZM Zahid Hossain confirmed the news.

Earlier on June 13, she was taken to the hospital of physical examination.

Khaleda, a 77-year-old former prime minister, has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung, heart, and eye problems.
